Why Campers Choose Us Among Campgrounds in the Poconos

There are a lot of campgrounds in the Poconos. Ours has been in the same family for more than 45 years, and we keep it deliberately small and quiet. No wedding parties, no scouts, no large organizations. RV clubs and big families are welcome, and most of our campers are people who have been coming back for years.

You get full hookup RV sites and primitive tent sites, a zero-entry pool with a splash pad that opens Memorial Day weekend and runs through September, and a private pond stocked with rainbow trout and sunnies. It's catch and release and you don't need a Pennsylvania fishing license to use it. There's a playground, a covered pavilion, two heated bathhouses, laundry, and a camp store where the Dusty Fox Lounge is where people end up on a Friday night to catch up on the week.

We also keep a local events calendar that our family puts together by hand, everything within about half an hour of the campground. You can add it to your own phone before you arrive. It's the kind of thing you'd normally have to dig up yourself.

The D&L Trail is five minutes away, Lehigh Gorge State Park is minutes from the gate, and Hickory Run State Park and Boulder Field are a short drive. Whether you're here for a weekend or the season, this is the basecamp.

Campfire in the Poconos PA

Everybody loves a good S'more, but when you try these variations, you'll notice that the fire isn't the only thing that's hot right now!
